Zixie Liang and Mingzhi Xu successfully presented their master's research on April 11, 2022. Excellent work. Zixie is off to yale for her PhD in BME. Mingzhi will continue PhD studies in the Truskey lab.

George Truskey, the R. Eugene and Susie E. Goodson Professor of Biomedical Engineering and senior associate dean for research at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering, has been elected as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

Brittany will be interning with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Pretoria, South Africa this summer! Her project will be designing a paper-based biosensor to detect harmful concentrations of pathogenic bacteria in surface water.
