Mingzhi received a predoctoral fellowship from the American Heart Association for the two year period January 1, 2024-December 31, 2025.  Her project is entitled "Integrating engineered blood vessel mimic and muscle to study the relation of rheumatoid arthritis and atherosclerosis"
