House Staff - Surgery

I am a third-year General Surgery Resident at Duke University completing a research fellowship over the next couple years. Originally hailing from Nigeria, my path has taken me from the heartland of Nebraska, where I earned my undergraduate degree at Creighton University, to Arizona for my medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine. I'm currently diving into research on the fascinating relationship between rheumatoid arthritis and cardiovascular disease as well as the interplay between hemodynamic factors and the development of atherosclerosis. Outside the hospital, you'll often find me embracing the great outdoors, whether it's hiking scenic trails, casting a line while fishing, or keeping fit through exercise.
