I was born and raised in Beijing, China, and began my journey of studying abroad in the States since 2015. I pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Physiology at the University of Washington in 2019-2023, working in a stem cell lab at ISCRM on IR-induced quiescence and cell cycle regulation. I joined the BME Master’s program at Duke University for graduate studies in fall 2023 focusing on Drug & Gene Delivery and Biotechnology, and became a member of the Truskey Lab in summer 2024. My current research project focuses on assessing cardiovascular toxicity of potential drug compounds utilizing Tissue Engineered Blood Vessels(TEBVs) systems, particularly to evaluate the effects of different chemicals on vascular function and other markers of cellular injury in a physiologically relevant setting.
