I am from New Jersey and I am currently an undergraduate senior at Duke. I started research in the Truskey Lab at the beginning of my junior year and I am currently working on my second independent study project. I am investigating the effect of shear flow on nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) production in iPSC-derived endothelial cells. I am also co-authoring a chapter for a book about body-on-a-chip technology and the role of toxins and pollutants in our organs. After graduation I will be pursuing my PhD in bioengineering. I enjoy swimming, hiking, and spending time with my friends and family!
