Jonah Santiago

Hi, my name is Jonah, and I am an undergraduate senior majoring in Biomedical Engineering (Class of 2019).  During my time at Duke, I have been a rower on the Duke Men’s Rowing team, a Duke Tour Guide, and a DukeEngage participant where I went to Zhuhai, China to teach performing arts classes, specifically K-pop dance to middle school students.  I am currently working on tissue engineered human skeletal muscle bundles and have designed and tested different scaffolding frames to see how force production of these myobundles change.  I am also a BioCoRE Scholar and have presented my research at the BioCoRE Symposium and SACNAS.
