Oliver, PhD

I am originally from Enfield, Connecticut. I received my Bachelors of Science in Engineering with Honors from the University of Connecticut in 2015 where I majored in Biomedical Engineering, with a specialization in Biomaterials, and minored in Materials Science and Engineering.  I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering working in the Truskey Lab on tissue engineered skeletal muscle as part of a larger project funded by NIH aimed towards the development of a physiologically relevant in vitro system-on-a-chip to further advance disease modeling and drug testing.
