Senior graduate student Brittany Davis was recognized for her excellence in mentoring. She was one of three graduate students to be honored with this award this year. The Dean's Award for Excellence in Mentoring recognizes the dedication that Brittany has displayed.

Truskey Named Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science

George Truskey, the R. Eugene and Susie E. Goodson Professor of Biomedical Engineering and senior associate dean for research at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering, has been elected as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
Brittany interning with CSIR

Brittany will be interning with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Pretoria, South Africa this summer! Her project will be designing a paper-based biosensor to detect harmful concentrations of pathogenic bacteria in surface water.
